Client installation guide

Follow these steps after you register on AuraFX Elite. No coding or compiling required.

Register your free AuraFX account

Create an account on aurafxelite.com to access the web dashboard, calendar, and install instructions.

Go to Register and complete the form.
Accept the risk warning and terms (required for UK users).
Open the dashboard to explore live market context while you set up MT5.

Download MetaTrader 5 from a regulated broker

MT5 is free from brokers such as IC Markets, Pepperstone, or any FCA-regulated firm in the UK. Open a demo account before using real money.

Choose a broker regulated in your country.
Download MT5 and log in with your broker credentials.
Open a chart — for example XAUUSD or EURUSD on H1.

Buy and install from MQL5 Market

Official AuraFX MT5 products will be sold on the MetaQuotes MQL5 Market. Installation is one click inside MT5 after purchase.

In MT5: Tools → Market (Ctrl+M).
Search for AuraFX and purchase or rent the product.
Go to Purchases → Install.

Coming soon on MQL5 Market — Direct product links will be added here after MetaQuotes approval. Until then, please use the web dashboard and test any licensed copy only on demo.

Attach the indicator or Expert Advisor

In MT5 Navigator → Indicators or Expert Advisors.
Drag the AuraFX tool onto your chart.
For EAs: enable Algo Trading in the toolbar.
Review settings — use conservative risk on demo first.

Test on demo — you place every trade

AuraFX shows analysis labels and helpers. You decide entries and exits in MT5 with your broker.

Run on demo for at least several sessions before live.
Use Strategy Tester for EAs before live deployment.
Never risk money you cannot afford to lose.

Developer / seller manual testing guide

For AuraFX owners and developers testing builds on your own PC before MQL5 Market release. Not shown to clients as the main install path.

Manual install (private testing)

MT5 → File → Open Data Folder.
Copy from your AuraFX-Elite\MQL5\ project folder into the matching MT5 MQL5\Indicators, Experts, and Include folders.
Open MetaEditor (F4) → open each .mq5 file → press F7 Compile to produce .ex5 files.
Attach from Navigator → Indicators / Expert Advisors. Test on demo and in Strategy Tester.
Keep .mq5 source private — do not redistribute compiled .ex5 without a licence.

Publishing on MQL5 Market (sellers)

MQL5 Market products are submitted as compiled .ex5 / .ex4 files (and required includes where applicable). MetaQuotes reviews compiled builds — keep your .mq5 source in your private development repo unless their wizard explicitly requires otherwise.
